Riders for Competition

Competitive riders often dedicate huge amounts of their time on physically preparing for competition such as fitness and skills mastery. However it is the mental fitness that often gets pushed aside and overlooked. Fortunately, this is an area that the equestrian industry is making positive steps to improve education and awareness of. It is therefore, that Daniel aid to help you attain the competitive edge through areas such as:

  • Behaviour change.

  • Overcoming competition nerves.

  • Using psychological skills training.

  • Mental resilience training.

  • Improving your focus both at competition and training.

  • Confidence and self-belief.

  • Emotional regulation to stay on track through the highs and lows of sport.

  • Coping with anxiety and performance pressure.

Non-Competitive Riders

For many riders, simply building their confidence and enjoying the mindful pleasure of riding is more peaceful than competition. By getting out of the office to jump a round of fences or even go on a day long hack, simply enjoying the company of their equestrian friend is a great break from the hassles of daily pressures. However, sometimes in life, we need a bit of support to overcome obstacles that are in the way. Daniel  supports these riders to bring the real happiness and enjoyment back into their riding.

In such areas we cover are:

  • Building your confidence to take on something new and exciting (and maybe even take up a new discipline).

  • Behaviour change.

  • Mindset and improving your focus.

  • Supporting you in overcoming anxiety from a bad experience.

  • Creating plans and goals to strive towards.
